Has anyone ever flowered a freshly cut clone right away without vegging? what would happen to the quality of the bud? I read on another site this guy was growing like that.

i don't think anything would happen to the quality of the bud,the plant will just be alot shorter than a normal fully veged plant, probably ending up bout 1ft tall im guessin... not 100% sure tho?

That is how most people do SOG, putting clones straight to flower after they root and only growing 1 main cola.

Alot of people do. The clone is the same age as the mother, so if it's healthy with a good root system.......I dont see why not. I just want a plant with a little gerth so I would veg longer. But thats just me......

I only vegged my clones for 7 days. Basically enough time to root into the rockwool cubes. They usually start their growth on the 6th day so I went into 12/12 on the 7th day.

I've never tried this before either, but my grow log is in my signature. Check it out. They've only been flowering for a 11 days and they look like they will produce some bud. I really don't know what to expect.

I did this because someone said that I could fuck his wife if I could get smokeable bud in 3 months, haha. I just want to see what I can do in less than 3 months start to finish.

I just put 4 into flower.

They were rooted in water only.
Once they had 1" root hairs I put them into soil.
I then let them sit for a week to 2 weeks under 24 hr low watts.

I would say from cut to flower it was 3 weeks aprox give or take 2-3 ds.

They were at 5-6" tall when I put into flower.
I topped them about 6 ds before putting them into flower

I intend to get atleast 4 maybe 6 more clones into flower here in the next week to two weeks.

My thoughts are to have shorter plants with more colas.
This will allow for better light penetration with better and bigger buds.

I will keep an eye on this aswell. I can see doing this with clones but not from seed. This should be cool, look forward to seeing the results.
