Hi everyone ,, first post first grow,
Growing in hydro and the veg stage went perfect lovely green bushy plants,, turned to 12/12 18 days ago and things are going tits up!! I’ve checked ph/ec they are 6ph and I’ve got them at 1.4 under 400 lights. Leaves are beginning to discolour and dry out at random places over all plants and growth has started to slow down 47B9AA66-AD75-4FC3-8E17-72EC972C2300.jpeg0D9D3348-5CB6-44BD-8686-52B6240A7EAA.jpeg

Magnesium deficiency, leaves exhibiting chlorosis ( yellow leaves, green veins)

Water soluble nutrients with Mg fix the problem. Look up how much you need in hydro, think the book said one teaspoon of Epsom Salts per gallon of water.

Good luck

It was either that or Iron, I cancelled iron out because your leaves still have green veins. After you’ve done some studying you’ll notice the difference although some are subtle .

1 tablespoon per gallon of water and it can be foliar spray to address immediately . In addition to adding to the res. Are you using RO water and not adding cal mag?

No not using RO water, was using cal-mag in veg then stopped but started using again a couple of days ago,
If it’s a mg deficiency should I just up the cal-mag?

this happens a lot when people use RO water without adding any substance to it but just nutes like cal mag etc

you think epsom salt would sort the leafs from falling off and going yellow not cal mag?
only reason is this happened to me but i used cal mag and the plant fixed up, i have epsom salf in my stock but didnt pull it out this time.
im using organics so my ppm in week 2 of flower is @ 450 will bring it up during late flower and down the ppm to under 100 at flush
