You gotta try this if you haven't... It's gonna be harsh, taste awful and you gotta roast the hell out of the weed to get smoke, but shit that's all part of doin it yourself.

Agreed - it tastes awful and burns poorly, but everyone tries it at some point (usually out of necessity and impatience).
EDIT: Pleased to see OP hasn't given up on this site.

taste wasn't bad tbh i tried one of the lower nugs of the ultimate. very fruity taste. makes me excited for the finished ones.
it did burn poorly as expected
also i didn't get a headache like is usually predicted

also tried a lower nug of the wet amnesia haze. wasn't as head high like the ultimate but was more body high. still smoked very bad but again the taste wasn't terrible and no headache either. gonna leave the rest on the plant not taking anymore of the wet stuff it is kind of a waste but at least i tried it and kinda had to i was so curious

Day 52(ish 
) of flowering [with total 100w/6250lumens]
DutchPassion say the ultimate takes between 8-10 weeks and RoyalQueen say up to 12 weeks on the haze. starting to see full amber/brownish pistils on lower part of the ultimate not really at the top and a few rare amber tips on the pistils on the haze so this would make sense right? because the ultimate will finish before the haze probably.
Couple of pics taken yesterday.. First pic is haze, second is ultimate
also, here's a grow journal of 100w cfl. i know i did not have 100w to start like this one but it proves that it can be done with 100w..

Hey, lookin good man. Just think of what your next will be like.
they bloomed 3 times the size and they smell juicy and citrusy == i've been using unsulfered blackstrap molasses and water together to flush them. i've read molasses works very well in the last few weeks and i will agree that it does indeed. it changes the scent from florally to fruity and speeds up fattening.

Have to agree a few weeks for sure. The fun but crazy sativas can just keep on flowering. Buds look nice, maybe next time train those tall girls into S shapes,circles whatever you warn with twist ties etc. Lets you focus your lights on the canopy to thicken up the buds and maybe even develop the lower buds some more as well. Regardless enjoy the fruits of your labour!

dutch passion website says 8-10 weeks for the ultimate and the haze is an auto so that should in theory be done in 70 days.
the calyxes on the ultimate have swollen and turned a darker green than they were before and has 70% approx brown hairs.
the longer i leave them the stonier the high is am i correct? what kind of high would there be if i put them into the 2/3 days of darkness-before-harvest tonight? these babies are glistening with trichomes right now and they smell fantastic. i'm very eager to chop them as the smell is getting heavy.

Your description does make them sound riper then the earlier photos above. Has the growth of the buds really slowed down or now building calyx towers then the end is near. Seed company dates are at best ball park times especially depending on light levels, etc. As far as impacting the high at this point I doubt much will change in the next few days. The dark cycle pre harvest can increase final resin production many believe. I often do this myself though I can't honestly say it has made large differences; but Ill keep doing it anyways. Every little bit! Now the patience challenge of drying and curing awaits you. Enjoy
