i've never posted in the CFL forum since we it started up here but i really like it alot. alot of good questions answered about CFL's and lots of very nice CFL's grows in here.

well here's what i'm working with now:
4 23w CFL
1 40w CFL
miricle grow organic soil

and i know its a little late but i'm thinking about miricle grow flowering nutes or i recently found a grow shop by me and i know they have tiger bloom and other fox farms products. they also carry advanced nutrients and lots of others. better later than never for flowering nutes right?

the temp in the room sits around 70 to 74. i think the last pic doesn't really do justice...it looks worse than it actually is. in the last week of veg i had some insect problems that was eating the fan leaves and the new growth on top. so i let it veg for another week to kinda heal itself.

another eleement that i believe contributed to the burning is the intensity of the CFLs as the plant was used to 2 4ft flouro's. what is the proximity of the CFLs to the plant? 2-4 inches?

all the bud and the small fan leaves aren't burnt at all and look very green any healthy.

hey dros i have had some bug problems which you can read about in the previous post. it might be the thrips you talked about. i don't think the miracle grow potting soil has anything to do with it. i don't think there are any pest in the soil. the bug i had just like to chew the leaves.

I used Miracle Gro organic soil last time and my plants got nute burn from the slow release fertilizer... everytime I watered I hurt them just a little more...

damn bugs... KILL! goodluck with this grow man, looking pretty good. you might need some more lights eventually.

Duece.

I know my thrips came from the miracle grow organics choice potting mix. When i went to go dump some more soil on top of the older soil to fill to the top of the pots i saw a couple flying around in the sealed bag. I dont think they couldve come any where else. Theirs about a ft of snow on the ground. I guess I just picked out a bad bag of soil.
