LOL! thats funny right there but...... If it helps, it helps right? Is that new soil you are using or has it had plants there before? You could possibly be having a nutrient def. If so you might need to get a boost of something in there. Not sure if you use nutes or not. good luck

alright,
ive gotten very curious about lst or topping. will this stress it out too much, or will it actually help the scrawny branches? if topping is the way to go, should i just cut the top node? heres another shot, the top leves are mostly damaged

i went for it and took off the top node, the leaves were damaged anyway. i also lightly tied some branches down to get more light to it.

That looks good. Topping early on, then tying branches down is a great way to grow a nice bush, instead of a scrawny Christmas tree. More so with sativa dominant strains. Looks like you are off to a good start!

.... keep it outside now. once the plant detects that the photoperiod is ASCENDING (adding minutes each day) it will start to veg again.

I speak from years of outdoor growing experience.
so after the summer solstice when the days are going down is what triggers flowering outdoor, i always wondered as indoor growers state that u need 12 hrs to flower, but outdoor plants clearly flower well before the light schedule reaches that. this is an interesting and helpful peace of info, thanks. +rep

arent u glad u didnt scap it, snoody indoor growers are the ones who usually say this. "oh i dont have the the time or space for a plant that looks sickly" if u care about the plant, u can nurse it back
Ya scrapping was never an option. I spent way too many nights awake worrying about lighting nutes and ph to just kill it! Lol, so does it look like its reveg'n? There are more branches growing off the side branches. It's going wild, not a whole lot taller though

id say so, i cant say for sure as ive never dealt with a revegging plant, but theres alot more new growth that i see, and no buds that i can make out, i think ur in the clear

Glad you didn't toss it! It is looking so much better. Maybe it will stretch during flowering. I have had a couple of runts that really surprised me. It may never be a six footer, but it may turn out better than you think. Good luck!
