Flowering 8 weeks vs 10..

I have two plant about 7 weeks into flower right now. I was planning on flowering for 8 weeks but if the plants can stand it I may go to 10 weeks. Will the extra 2 weeks increase yield, I have heard some people say buds really swell up late into flowering but I don't know because this is my first grow.

Well depending on what your growing, 10 weeks may not be enough.

Time limits are just guidelines. When the plant is done its done. Indicas are usually done before sativas. Growing times vary from everything. Experience, issues that come up during a grow, medium, lights, all have a says in the time it takes to finish a plant.

Yea every strain will have weeks apart

from finishing. Takes practice on every strain to figure out when its ready but all plants do swell up last few weeks doesn't mean you get more.
