Flower Too dark Green After Cutting down

I wet trimmed: maybe that was the problem, idk. Beginner grower here. Will the buds get lighter and have more life to them after cure

Not sure what you mean by wet trimmed. Did you prune the plant? Did you cut the plant? If you cut and the buds were ready for harvest, then the answer is yes, they will dry and get lighter.

The buds will not have more 'life' to them after cure, they are dead. They will get lighter as they dry out and change colors. I had a really beautiful strain it was bright neon green with little purple sugar leaves after harvest and wet trim. As she dried she lost the brilliant neon green and bright purple and mellowed to more a sage green with hint of purple. Unfortunately she wasn't good enough to stick around. Congratulations on making it to the end.

Thanks for the knowledge. Had no idea they changed colors as it dries. And I appreciate it. 2/2 now on grows!
