Flower to Veg. Question

Is there any information about taking a plant from flowering to veg after harvest. I have read it can take up to 4 weeks but that is the extent of my knowledge. Any information or direction would be appreciated.

Flower on 12x12 and then after harvest turn the lights on 24/7 and give them a dose of nitrogen.
