oh yeah.. and i got some other great news over the weekend...
see, me and my buddy (who lives in an entirely different state) (((we grew up together but he moved years ago))) went half on the seed purchase... i actually ended up paying for all the seeds just so i could have them shipped to an address in his neighborhood and he then reshipped half of them to me.. but being that we only got 5 black rose seeds (they were freebies) he only kept 1 of them, which turned out a male... so i gave him precise instructions on how to capture the pollen and then pollenate a couple branches of a White Widow... well, he did.. about 8 weeks ago.. and he now has the first batch of seeds and hes sending me a bunch so i can try them out.. he hasnt gotten the chance yet, but im sure as hell excited to see what we come up with... Black Widow?? White Rose? Nice Funeral? haha..

Yeah I can't wait to see that purple pheno actually turn.
So far mine have been low and bushy and they are just starting to get some white hairs. I don't expect them to get much taller, they are about 2 feet now.
Hmmm....Black Widow sounds wicked man. Good luck with that too.:peace:

still no purple!! they are swelling up.. but i still have no signs of purple... im beggining to lose hope.. i think i have 2 different mothers both producing green clones... grrr... one difference i did notice from the 2 mothers was that the clones from plant C had much more crystal development earlier in flowering than plant D.. and also, all of the clones cut from plant C are growing single cola style, straight up... whereas plant D's clones tend to bush out... so clearly there are 2 different phenos.. im just hoping one shows purple...

im still pondering on the theory that my high temps ( sometimes in the 90s!!!) my be preventing the purple from emerging. ive read ((i think in hightimes a couple issues ago)) that throwing a plant into a cold environment (such as a completely dark, air conditioned closet) during the Dark cycle for a couple nights toward the end of the grow could bring out the purple... hmmm.. any body know about this?

I will confirm this cold=purple rumor for you, its true!!!! during the winter (it gets cold here) i've found my plants will be almost completely purple but in these warm summer months not so much. the reality is its all cosmetic and wont get you any higher, but its still real purdy to look at! +rep for a great journal & movie thread!

ok ... well heres an update...

no purp! blahhh...

im debating on wether to start flushing now ( begin for harvest in 2 weeks) or wait ANOTHER 2 weeks to begin flushing for 2 more weeks... im not sure if these are going to be done in 2 weeks... does anybody have any comments about wether or not these are looking like they are ready to flush? heres the pics... the ones in question are the BRs (first pics)













heres some bad pics of the Chrystals that are 2 weeks behind these..

Lookin good as always Dert.
Judging by all the amber hairs I'm seeing, start flushing.
You may want to consider a tablespoon of molasses per gallon in your flush water, works wonders.:peace:

yeah.. i was thinking that too.. im going to start flushing today...
ive heard lots about using molases.. im gonna give it a shot..

the first set of BRs didnt fill out right.. i didnt trim the lower leaves off and force them to become single cola.. and from what i can see, with my current set up, single cola plants are going to be much more efficient .. . the second set thats in there is growing much more vigorously..

im sure if all my conditions were better, they would have filled out real nice.. but i think the heat is holding them back..

im workin on getting a protable ac .. that will probably make them BLOW UP nice and big..

Hey dirt that washing machine is the best stealth grow i"ve seen on this site.
If i"m feeling a bit down i click on this post and check out the pics of the machine.
It makes me laugh every time i see it awesome.

HAHA.. .cool man.. im glad u liked it.. your post made my day!
u know whats the coolest part about it.. i gave it the stealth test... and it passed with flying colors...

see i have a chair, that is no more than 2 feet to the left of the washing machine... and a couple chairs across from it (this is where i hang out, smoke, and get on the internet at) .. i had a couple friends come over. on a couple different occasions.. and they have all sat in that chair.. for long periods of time.. and NOBODY has every said anything or even looked at it funny... they just think its a broken washing machine.. ahhh if they only knew there were some dank mothers in there.. haha..

dert man i dig your grows too. i know you are on a perpetual harvest, so you must have a ton of jars lol. i want to grow like this but i dont have the space or stealth to do it right now.:mrgreen:

lol.. yeah.. i got tired of eating spaghetti so i just ordered a case of mason jars from walmart ( site-to-store ) so i could go pick it up there.. between me and my buddies, ill always have a couple empty jars haha

i have actually done this myself when i had nothing to do but on my reptile not on weed.

i dont know but that thing works trough condensation and i think that when in flwer..youll end up with alot of water inside the room as moist.

i strongly reccomend a dehumidifier working all the time if your gonna do this diy a/c unit
