Florescent Tubes Vs. CFL

Alright, so ive done alot of research, and it seems that the best kind of lights to use are MH or HPS

Unfortunately, i dont have the cash flow for em

But i have been using 3 75w Florescent tubes

From what i have read online, you can use CFLs to produce some decent bud.

What im wanting to know is if Florescent tubes work the same as cfl

The tubes that i use stay cool, and the highest temp in my box is 88 with a lowest of 75 humidity is anywhere from 65-78%

There good for the temp, but are they good for veg and flower?

I have both 2 lamp, 4' T5 and T8 fluorescent tube type lights; the T5 are 54 watt (x2=108 watt) and the T8 are 32 watt (X2 =64 watt). the T8 are good and ok, but I will not get another. If I get another tube type light it will be 4' T5s. T5s are twice as efficient as T8, not because of the of my wattage but because of the technology of the lamp. so i have 2 fold efficiency [in comparison].
the plants respond under T5, and me thinks the T8 are good for sustaining life...but plants do grow under T8s.
CFL is the way to go. cheap and get its done. my opinion and mine only.
I am totally T5, T8 and CFL grow now. I have 22 CFLs now and my plants grow. The T5s and T8s are still on, but I am getting more growth and response from the plants using CFLs. I have both 6500k and 2700k CFLs, 16 and 6 respectively.

After using 7-42 watt CFL's and playing around with a couple smaller T5's in a clone area I think the CFL's look brighter than the t5's but you might be better off with CFL's because they are easy to move them around so all your large buds are covered with light.

If I do it again I'd like to ditch the 7-42 watt CFL's for 14-26 watt CFL's. Positioning bulbs around the buds and getting them as close as possible is much easier with the smaller 26 watters.
