Flordia Grow Season?

Dont know but was wondering if anybody knows about florida outside growing when might be the time to start seedlings or just get them growing and what might be the time they start flowering, will there be enough time for a longer sativa?

Now would be a good time to start them indoors. Florida is not in the tropics, therefore it does get cold enough to freeze. So you can put the plants out a few weeks after the last anticipated frost date. This date can be found online on any number of sites. This date can vary between the beginning of Feb. and the end of Mar. depending on where in FL you're at.

All outdoor plants get their cue to start flowering when the days start getting shorter this called the summer solstice aka the first day of summer, July 21 this year. A longer flowering sativa would need to finish before the first heavy frost. Again this varies between the end of Oct. to the end of Dec. depending on your location. In short you can definitely finish a longer sativa in southern FL, and probably/maybe in northern FL. Hope this helps.
