I have a 4x4 flood table and getting another. I use a 50 gal res. Any issues with using the same res but with 2 pumps at different times

Thanks, I thought so, the guy at hydro store told me I needed a 110 gal. Was sure he was just trying to make a buck. I do weekly changes to make sure everything stays in check

If you were filling both at the same time you might need a res that big. But, like you said, filling them at different times you should be fine. The one thing that comes to mind would be how much the plants will uptake during a weeks time. Beings how your sharing a res and all the plants will be consuming from it. They might really suck it down. You follow?

Sure do, definitely going to have to keep a closer eye on ppms but how about transferring any critters such as gnats or root rot, not having issue but out of curiosity

Keep your res covered and you'll reduce the chances of such problems. Ebb n flood by its nature is root rot resistant because the roots spend time out of the water.

I actually do exactly this. I also go longer than one week between res changes, but careful observation of your plants for signs of nutrient deficiencies will tell you when changeouts are needed.
