i know this is one of the most asked ? but i am about to start a room and i dont know if i should do a flood or drip system? most of the people i know do flood so i dont know much about drip. if any one has some ideas.

Flood is more forgiving and less error-prone IMO. And you'll have knowledgeable friends that can help you hands-on.

Welcome to the forum. I'll put my two cents in here. I have three drip tables which I will convert to ebb and flow. The difference in the time it takes to move your plants around from time to time, and the work involved, makes this the right decision. By the time I reach in and pull the drip irrigator out of the center plant in the table, carefully setting it so it won't be in the way, you could have moved three sets of plants in an ebb and flow setup. One hell of a lot easier on your back as well. VV
