When I started this grow, I had 2 of each strain in each 12gal cooler.
As of last night, I chopped my last male.
This time it was a Gorilla Grape.
The pics above show my lone SR71 female on the front left, taking up 80% of the pics.
The 2 GG's took up the whole right side, but now just the back right corner.
I spread out the SR71 and used up the space from the GG male.
The GG female is a squat girl with 7 or 8 colas, just laying in the cut back there.
This SR71 girl is a beast and eats like one too.
I made this cross from my last run and the seeds are HUGE.
I officially have 1 female of each strain :

1 - SR71 Purple Kush / Appalachia (Chem D x Chem D BX2) x Gorilla Grape F2 LRP (Purple Urkle x Double Purple Doja)

1 - Gorilla Grape F2 LRP

Also and as usual with my last 3 or 4 grows, I left/leave the chop stalks in the cooler/rez.
YES, roots and all.
I cut the stalk at the base and cover the whole net pot for the rest of bloom.
I've left them uncovered too.
NEVER had a problem or issue.
The plant is still alive you know !?

Can't argue TOO much with concrete evidence for you to look at. lol
And I take/took LOTS of pics.

What it do FLO!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY DUDE!!!! I left DWC for a top drip coco grow...I pay homage to cool ass mofos like FLO when I was a beginner this dude showed me mass love. Thanks dude and good to see you around my dude!!!

I only did what I wish someone had done for me starting out.
I hope you're loving that top feed and coco.
I still have some Botanicare Coco, from when all I did was indoor grow with soilless mediums.
Coco is most def some good shit and what I will/would go back to using if I do soilless again !
What'cha got going right now ?
We'll most def be talking as usual again.

For sure man just getting ready to chop chop some Larry OG and lavander using House and Garden nutes and coco chips in air pots, I just hit them with shooting powder last night so the end is near for this grow.. Good to see you back up on the boards man, you always spread love and stoney vibes.

Looking sweet FG!

I'm 6-days behind you with flowering so it seems so we will probably both be enjoying our harvests around the same time (slurp!) :-)

My grow is supposed to be 8 weeks of 12/12 for the C99 x AK47, but last grow I harvested it at day 58 but it was too early.
The potency just hadn't developed. Not sure exactly what the main contributing factor was but looking forward to a better grow this time around.

Do you always grow a combo of tried & trusted strains together with new strains?

I noticed you pick a 2-week window to do screen training in your scrog. Have you found 2-weeks to be a good average time to train new (sativa-dom) strains across the screen?

When you say too early, what color were the trichs ?
C99 and AK are supposed to be quick finishers.
Was that a Joey Weed hybrid ?
I gotta get ALL his shit !!

To be honest, I grow whatever I think I feel like or want.
I do take into consideration Indica, Sativa and hybrid combos and try to keep them alike mostly.
I had no idea the SR hybrid would love to be topped for 4 main colas and branch so damn well.
The male grew the exact same way and I was disappointed with his gender.
I have found that a SCROG needs no less than 10 days of training for Sativa dominate strains.
Screen height and size will also determine how long to train as well.
You have to veg Indica dominate (80%+) strains longer since they won't stretch as much.
For instance, I stopped training the Gorilla Grape after a week.
She don't move very far at all !! lol
So you can grow what you want, just know your strains from experience to make the most of your time and yield.
