Flip Flopping Cobs

Would it be possible to run two leds on the same driver and flip flop them every twelve hours? I have two cxa3070s and two 80w meanwell dimmable drivers. I would like to add two cxb3070s in a seperate area on the opposite schedule from the first.

How would I wire this? I am guessing it will take a relay and a timer of some sort. I may even run an arduino controller at some point to control fans and co2 if that would make it easier.

What?! COB politicians are already going back on their word? Flipping their positions? Changing their colors?!

COB FLIP FLOPPERS, SOUND THE ALARM!

Couldn't help myself...

Interesting idea, sort of like running ballasts on a flip box. It will not be as much of a money saver due to the fact that the COB chips themselves are the spendy parts.

the Dutch 'Lean' method works very similar where one banks of hps lights switch of,
the other on, in a big grow room(10mx20m) its a riot to watch them lean over really far
to get that distant light, saves bulk cash on bills too

You can do it with a simple relay that flip flops between two outputs from a single input. You can attach the positive on the single side and flip between the two leds. If you need more explaining I can. You would need a few other things to run it.

I would use this cheap relay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Durable-10Pcs-DC5V-Contact-current-10A-5Pin-Power-Relay-for-T73-5V-SRD-5VDC-SL-C-/271890586769?hash=item3f4df11c91

What? Please tell me more about this?

how do you keep them so cool? mine are externally mounted and i have 2 fans on them and they are very warm by the end of a 12 hour cycle. I would never run a cheap driver 24/7 i would be to scared it'd crap out sooner or worse
Meanwell aren't making cheap crappy drivers, are they?

I'm trying something different. We'll see if it works and if it's worthwhile once I have something real to work with.
