Hello RIU fans. Got a Florida outdoor setup. Some of my seedlings like my clones went out too early.:neutral: They flowered I harvested now they are reverting back to veg. hey chronic, I know this post is like 6 months old but I just wanted to know if you have any strains that work good in fl. I live here too and want to do an outdoor.

Most sativas do good here. Satori does good out here. I would assume most mandala strains would do good here. They can take the heat. Here is a pic of a satori I harvested for a spring summer harvest.IMG_20130519_140853.jpgIMG_20130510_124217.jpg. This thread isn't that old.

Hey, thanks for the info on strains. I have had some mixed results over the years. This year Im growing 1 sweet kush, 1 purple#1, 1 amnesia auto, and I have some trainwreck seeds coming from green house. So far the sweet kush seems to be doing the best. The amnesia is growing super slow and I don't know if its just the strain or if I have an issue. The ph is good and it cant be nute lock from overfeeding because I haven't given it any ferts yet. Im using roots organic and I started it in a coco pellet. Anyway, thanks again Chronic.
 
Some seed strains are like that. When more vegetation grows it will catch up. Some beans show the f1 hybrid vigor more so than others. Trainwreck is sativa Dom so it will do good here. Maybe we could blaze up and trade cuts or beans one day. But you gotta get that rep. Good luck.

I grew lady burn from greenhouse(freebie). This was the best looking seedling I've ever had two weeks in growth and that bitch looked like a clone.
 
Well the warlock is a confirmed male.:-( No biggie I was intending to use a male warlock to pollinate all my other ladies for beans. :weed: I wanted to try this as I noticed a lot of crosses with warlock. Even rocklock from DNA has warlock in it.

Got some warrior princess and blueberry mix beans from e$cob@r on the way gonna germ those asap when they get here. Oh and the Leaves look like claw I took the pic after rain passed.
 
Thanks it should go well I've used this spot before. I skipped a year composting with oak leafs. To help let the goodies break down into the ground. Now using it this year again. :bigjoint:
 
Hey man how do you prepare your holes? What kind of soil mixture and how old/what height do you put your seedlings out? Thanks man, looking good!
 
Thanks my dude. I just dig a hole with a fence post shovel. I mix native soil with black kow at the spot I'm using now. I also raked oak leafs to compost the year before. I top feed them when watering. I would suggest planting around the end of may. Prep seedlings about two weeks before planting them in the ground.

The new spot I found while scouting is fuckin awesome. Gonna prep this one in fall with subcools super soil method. Minus a lil worm castings. The worms usually come on their own when I enrich the soil. Going all out on my new spot next year. Prepping it this fall. Gets blasted with sun almost all day long. Its well hidden too.
