Hey everyone just need some advice here. I have about 10 grows under my belt so im not a total newbee but i have always used my 400 hps with carbon filters and filtered intakes and exhaust. my last grow i lost all of my clones and was stuck with no babies after my last harvest. Now i have learned that i need two grow areas, so I want to move my mother and clones to a new grow closet so here is my question:

I have 4 florescent tubes lights 48" long in a closet that is about 6' tall. will these lights work okay? or should i get a bathroom fixture that holds 6 light bulbs and put CFL's in them and use that?

If you say i should use the CFL what is the wattage i should use?

What would you say would use more Electricity? it is very high where i live my average bill is 400 a month and i dont want to go to much higher

thanks for the help

Once the clones are rooted, You will want more light than "43 watts". BUT a single 43 watt CFL can root 50 clones and maintain them for over a month... if need be...

The clones need to be packed into a small area... 2 foot by 2 foot...

I trash can is GOOD cause it keeps the clones warm...

Hey Orange..

I am not sure how many CFL's for a 3 foot mother... maybe 4 - 43 watt CFLs.. This will get you about 30-50 clones a month...

You will have to have the CFLs very close to the foliage and have them along the sides.. not just the top.

cheers
