That's with both the piranha and sag. I just mixed in the sag when it came because it was only a few days after my last res change, that I added the piranha. On Thursday I'll be changing the res again, using only the sag.

K i'll dunk them some more. Have only done it one or two times but it does look like they could use more.

They certainly do seem to be heading in the right direction now. I'll try to keep posting pictures and updates. Wish I would of took pictures a week ago but honestly they looked so bad I just couldn't bring myself to do it lol.
these are still in veg right? if so, give them a couple of weeks to fully recharge and you should be fine

Your always going to have some of the brown clinging to the roots with the SAG. Looks like your getting them on the come back path!
You ever get Powdery Mildew on anything in the garden.... Grab the SAG!
Ours crises my mind that if I get some pm, I can use this. Handy, two birds one stone.

So did a res change today and it's the first time using the sag without the piranha and noticed my water is really cloudy now. With the piranha it was crystal clear. Anything to be concerned about? I hope it wasn't the piranha that was making my plants turn around. Can't afford to be buying that shit every week.

nope, nothing to worry about.
I don't want to panic here but with in the 10hrs of doing my res change this morning my roots have taken a massive turn for the worst. Totally getting mushy and slimy again. I hate to say it but I'm starting to think it was the piranha that was turning things around for me. It's expensive as fuck but think I'm going to grab a bottle tomorrow to be safe.

Really seriously considering changing my set up though. Can't be buying piranha and etc. every week. Way too fuckin expensive. Makes a guy kind of harbor bad feelings towards the company(AN).

well, plan B is to run sterile which works great too.

do you have a fairly accurate scale?

HTH pool shock works great and is the cheapest method you can find. a 1 pound bag will last a decade.

if you don't have a good scale ( to 0.01 g accuracy), get some laundry bleach.

and no bleach (chlorine) is not harmful to humans or plants in the ppms you'll be at.

if you don't want to switch to sterile just yet, up your dose to a tsp (5mL) per gallon of the SAG and see what happens.

K gonna sleep on it I guess(have no choice really lol). See where things are at in the morning.

When I tried sterile I had zero results. Although I figure I probably wasn't using anywhere near enough.

Will be tough not to turn back to the piranha at this stage though. Seeing is believing. But the price tag makes me sick, so we'll see.

i've done both sterile and SAG. i thought each way worked quite well for me and both are pretty easy.

how much does the piranha cost?

Usually around $90(cdn) for a 1liter bottle, before tax. Following the directions I think is 12ml per gallon I believe. Yes seriously lol.
holy crap! big mike from AN is raping the customer. ouch.

if this SAG doesnt' work out, get on ebay and find a decent digi scale. i got mine for about 30 usd shipped and accurate to 0.01g.

measure out 0.30 grams per 10 gallons water (3ppm free chlorine) and that did the trick for me. about twice a week seemed like a good dosage for me.

Ok I'll for sure consider that. I'll probably toss ya a pm if I go that route, if that's cool?

Raping is an understatement. It does appear like a quality product but those prices are literally insulting to customers. I'm honestly offended lol.
