Fist LED grow

hmmm I don't think it can be heat, my temps stays between 74 and 78F all the time (might drop to 72F doing night hours)

had some heat issues back when I began to grow when I used a 600W HPS with out a cool hood at summer time, the leaves edges curled the other way (up)

I know how shaded leaves look like and your right, can cup down a bit, similar to this, but in this case its all the bigger Fan leaves, from top to bottom actually more on the top leaves if any thing

did`t use any neem oil or anything similar, never had a Bug problem in my two years of indoor growing (knock on wood)

maybe under watering, as they are thirsty and get 1/2 a gallon each every second day or so, but as fare as I know they do need a chance to dry out a bit (pot`s are pretty light when I water tho) specially in flowering my experience and research tells me they like it dry, but maybe ?

I also considered it might be under feeding, even tho they use less under the LEDs them Skunk 1# are hungry, was thinking they might not be able to take use of all the light if they did`t get enough food ? normally I just top dress with Bat guano and use guano tea a few times doing flowering but I think I might try to give em a little mineral nutrients this time for some extra P and K

well lets see, its minor stuff, just like to continue to optimize my grow and if I know myself I won't be happy before I got every thing spot on

thanks for the input

a few from to day
Damn slipon, you're killing it, nice... Think I recognize one of the panels, the green chinese reflector design in there, that's what I'm currently running, nice to see some good looking bud under them :) Too bad LED's can't penetrate or grow shit though, you'll just have to make do I guess (he says, tongue in cheek, for the LED haters) ;)

lol yea, the green LG panel is actually a ok LED light, my main panel (the 280W Bulldog with secondary lenses) do a bit better, well I can keep it further away and that way cover more ground, wile it also penetrate a bit more (lower/middle Bud`s get as dense at the top once, well almost :D) but for a extra panel (what I was looking for to cover the last 1x3 ft) its good, and for a small scale grow (even smaller then mine) or two of em in a scrog they would do just as well Im sure, just need to keep em closer (30cm instead of 50cm) and train your plants a bit, quality/potency is just as good and the top 1 ft Bud`s also get pretty dense, could maybe say you get similar results as a 400W wile the Bulldog is closer to a 600W HID, you get what you pay for, but its not bad at all, do the job

ha, thought so, they're not bad for the price, I'm sure there's better but they work. Whatever you're doing keep it up, looking like a nice haul...

So far so good for me, they veg quite well, this is the round that will tell me whether I continue using them for flowering. I'll still be upgrading to Inda-gro for my personal/organic grows but I have a few of these so planning to use them for seeds, clones, veg and reserve the inda-gro's for flowering my best/personal plants, they seem to consistently produce nice bud.

I had purchased 2 small one's at retail (e-bay retail that is) from these guys, then between November/December it looks like they were clearing some inventory and put a bunch up on auction. I low-balled the auctions, watched the one's that didn't have a lot of activity and in the end bought the larger panels for as low as $0.75 per actual watt, so averaged $0.85/watt, not bad, even for retrofitting with custom diodes. Year-end on e-bay is a good time to buy if you have a cash stash, inventory clearance and less competition for auctions cause everyone's broke for Xmas - lol

I like those colas.
me too :) and I got 14 of em on four plants, plus twice as many half size lower shoot`s/Bud`s, might come close to 1g per Watt of dried/cured Bud on this run, I wonder how they would look in a DWG or similar ? but I like my organic soil

Was by my grow store to day to pick up some perlite aso and couldn't resist to buy a few seed`s for my next run, as they finally got the white window from seedsman
