fish tank water?

i see some people using it.... why? good? bad?


reasons why good or bad? lol just curious...

isn't fish tank water just treated tap water, i no those chemicals are good for fish but plants? i dont no. if u want to use the best water try mineral water or bottled water

There really shouldnt be chemicals in that water, just ph adjusters id think, ive always figured it was very good.

It has fish shit in it. Organic fertilizer. Now, would you like to buy some beachfront property in Death Valley???

now thats an awesome read... it pretty much sums up what i thought...

ive been using tap water and didnt really want to buy spring/distilled.... and this just makes it all make sense...

my tank is over crowded, like in the article, so i always have to do 1/4 water change ever 3-4 days... it's always at 6.3-6.7 ph, its got fish shit in it, and plants grow well in my aquarium..... so why am i dumping that 1/4 tank of water down the drain???

only prob is i dont feed live food, but after buying some live food and breeding it in my small tank to feed the large on - id save more money than buying spring water all th time - and id (hopefully) be giving osmething better to my plants...

my dad used fish emulsion on his outdoor plants back in the 70s lol. I've never seen them but supposedly he grew some killer trees

Hey I use Neptunes Organic Fish Harvest, it's really good stuff.

I use them both

Also DO NOT USE DISTILLED WATER!!!
I;ve had problems and other plp have told me that the plants like the micro orginisms in the tap water.

I can tell a difference BIG TIME.

I dunno about fish tank water so I just bought the real fish shit.

Im using alaska fish emulsion on my outdoor grows this year.
