No soil , they’re in Rockwool slabs. The consensus has been nitrogen so I dropped the nutes down to 1/4 strength. Does Nitrogen toxicity become plant death?
Yea man. For sure. If my plants looked like that in my grow I’d be flushing the shit out of it and transplanting

to be clear, this issue began before switch from half to full strength nutes
part of it
mix your stuff to 75% str until the root mass builds up and increases the feed intake

there is something called Rapid Start best rooting feed i have ever used
it will make the root mass grow very fast and alot of fine tendrils for sucking up the feed

once the root mass is built up and the plant is allowed time to grow into what u are doing then bum it up feed

assuming u are using the 3 part micro grow bloom .......slightly increase the micro to what feed plan saids like 15% more

Great, thanks for the input. Yes, I’m using 3 part micro grow bloom flora series plus 1tsp/gallon calmag. How would I know when the root mass is built up? I can only see a little bit of the roots where they are poking out of the drainage slits in the grow slab.

So, it’s only been a few days since reverting back to 1/4 strength nutes and the under-curl issue is improving. I’m including a pic of a new discolouration happening on a single leaf tip, on a plant that otherwise seems to be the healthiest of the lot. I’d like to hear opinions on if it is likely still high in nitrogen or something obviously different. Thanks.

I think the plant in this picture could use some Mg. I also think you moved back to half strength too soon. Is this recirculating top drip or Ebb and Flow? Your plants are still very dark and could use a breather. Either you aren't giving enough Mg or it's getting locked out (more likely)

Thanks JD. Recirculating top drip, and they are drinking about a gallon per day right now. Looking a lot better since original post and growing like crazy.
