First try (and hard fail) at hydro dwc

Never worked with GH, but I heard that it can be thick and you have to shake it well because of the chunks.
I haven't seen that in 30 years but I only use their Flora 3 Part, Calimagic and Armor Si. I have not used their FloraNova and other lines.

General Organics is syrup like, smells horrific and the main nutes are vegan (they call it Veganic). A couple additives come from squid so they're just organic.

Everything I read says use the General Organics line on soil and use General Hydroponics for Hydro set ups.

"Using General Organics in a Hydro set up will 'gum up' the set up."

No idea what that means but it sounds crappy.

I can barely see it's toes through the bottom of the pot. Due to this set-up being a brand-name (Jiffy), they seem to want to do things in a proprietary fashion so they don't use a standard net pot. It's more like a thin and flexible regular flower pot.

I might change this plants name to 'Karen'.

Also, I couldn't capture her toes on film but I could see one withy eyeball. It's off-white and thicker but has no fine filliment roots branching off it.
drill some holes er something

all the diy netting pots ive seen were water bottles cut in half filled with busted bits of clay pots

It's already been put into soil. I can heal it in soil, I don't have the proper supplies to fix it in Hydro.

i feel ya. anything to keep it going.

my school of thought on all projects is:

1) spend alot of money go big, do it right (or not lol)
2) cheap out and go diy as much as possible. i like this method because after the first run or two it lets you know what works and what clearly doesnt. advice is cool but experience goes along way and as a slow learner i need to fuck up a few times before i get it right
