Although my experience is only one year outdoor
I grew auto's to beat the cold weather
I got a bunch of smallish plants that really didn't taste very good
They looked good though

Yeah autos I’ve grown outside lacked a proper punch in flavour. Nice and mild but nothing compared to indoor grown autos.
Although I love growing them outdoors as 18hrs of sunshine in the summer works well for me
