Just started the foxfarm fertz 2 weeks ago(bloom, tiger, grow)
Organic soil

This started about 5 days ago. Her first two leaves are turning yellow which I figured was due to lack of light cause she's mad bushy, shes drooping, and some leaves are turning yellow w/ little brown spots?? Im a first timer so im kinda freakin out! let me know please:confused:

it prolly is nute burn.... not full on nute burn... but the beginning signs of it... if you just started feeding your plants nutes and you used a full strength solution it could very easily burn your plants or start to burn them... i recommend starting out with a 1/4 strength nute solution and building up from there... it allows your plant to adjust to the nutes.. it also allows you to see what sorta concentration your plants like the most... somestrains will use more nutes than other... i practice this on my own plants and havent lost a plant to nutetrient overdoses or had a major nute burn scare... just my 2 cents

I didn't use that many nutes like 2 tbls/gal of big bloom and 2 tsp/gal of grow big??? what about the droopiness is that over or underwatering??

hmmm... i dont know how concentrated those nutes are.. if they are anything like mine you gave them more than you think... BUT again im not sure.. what do the directions recommend on them??

if your underwatering thats not good... you want to make sure that the soil never completly dries out.. you should water when the top 3 inches are dry... and if you can feel inside the drainage holes and it feels dry there also thats a good indicator.. plus you should lift it up before you water and after you water to see the weight difference.. after a while you can stop feeling the dirt and use the weight of the pot as an indicator whether or not you should water

It is not nute burn. I would start fox farms a lil weaker but the plant seems to have taken it well. For 5 weeks its not uncommon for those old first or second set of leaves to yellow. You already started nutes so that will fix any defecincies.

Whats your ph? Do you ph after you add the nutes? If ph is is not inline it will lock out nutes.

The droopiness could be a couple things. Whats your water schedule and how much water do you use. What size container is the plant in?

That is incorrect. You want it to get dry. When my medium is completely dry I water. Every 3-5 days.

I have no over or under watering issues.

She's getting worse and it's awful timing because I need to get about 3 clones from her take them home and plant her outside..

Big bloom is 0.01-0.3-0.7, grow big is 6-4-4.. I dont have a pH meter but the color when i test it after i add nutes is an orgnaish yellow so like 5.5.. I use a big liter aquafina bottle and use about a quarter of it when i water. I water every other day...

ph lockout mixed with over watering.

You need to ph to 6.5 If you do not ph the plant can not take up the nutes. You might as well not be feeding nutes at all. If you need to you can use baking soda or vinegar to up or down your ph. But it must be done after the nutes are added. Same with your water.

Next every other day is probably way to much. My clones in 16oz cups don't even get watered that soon. You need to get a soil moisture meter

They are like 5 bucks at lowes. Water when it says dry. It is that simple. It might be 4 or 5 days between watering sometimes. I would say my plants avg 3 or 4 days between watering. Next water with at least the same amount of water as the container size. This makes sure the whole medium gets moist to promote root growth. Over watering is not to much water at watering but watering to often.

So go get a meter. When its dry flush with 2 times the container size of phed water. Ph to 6.5 This will help clear out any nute build up and fix the ph issue. When she is dry again feed her but start slow 1/4th reg strength nutes. Work your way up to full strength.

Regardless of the exact issue these instructions will get you a healthy plant . Ph and proper watering are very important.

Good Luck

Alright thanks very thorough...

But could you explain flushing to me as i am a newb and have heard the term but never done it

i have 3, 3wk old plants and the first and second set of leaves are starting to turn yellow. i use mg vegatable and flowring mix, and it says it feeds up to 3 months, so i kno ther is no nutri burn. is the cause of the yellow leaves for it just gtting older, or is there any other problems?
