Hey, this is my first grow, didn't really know much about growing before I started, started the larger one in late may and the small one in late June. By looking at the close up pics of the large one is this female parts I see, the little hairs? Also, how are they looking?

for a first timer your doing real well. check back daily on your plants to determine sex. if you see two hairs at the center of each node than it is a female if you see one pistil hair and little pollen sacks below it is a male. Good luck mann and welcome

So do the little hairs signify the end of the veg stage and the beginning of flower stage? Isn't a little early for the flowering stage?

First timer, need held determining sex or during sex???

Pre flowers can usually be seen somewhere in the 6th - 10th nodes, at 6-8 weeks into veg As mentioned, hairs are good. Ballz, not so much. 1st pic is a keeper. 2nd one, "leave the gun, take the cannoli: bongsmilie
