First timer, do these look ready to harvest?

This is about week 8, it has grown outdoors and I've been covering it to get the 12/12 for the past 7-8 weeks. There are still white hairs and the Tri chromes look really swollen, but I don't want to harvest early (less potency) or harvest late and lose potency. Need some guidance

hard to tell just from this pic, looks well developed but can't say with 100% degree of certainty with out seeing it under a scope. Go to Radio Shack they sell pocket microscopes that are 100X and sell for just under 20 bucks.

I agree with Istay, Thats the only way to tell when to harvest is looking at the tri's under a microscope

it really amazes me how much this fucking question is asked on a daily basis!!! do kids today know how to read?? as stated by these fellas and a thousand times before, get a scope, inspect trichomes, easy as that!

I looked at that picture for a while and still am not sure its a MJ plant lol. The laves look wierd and I dont see any hairs or trichs? Is it just me?

Dude if that is a female cannabis plant, do it a favor and chop it now... that little thing is in bad bad shape. Please post a better or closer up pic, by the looks of those leaves it might not be marijuana, i think somebody might have lied to you buddy. No offense but that may be the oddest plant ive ever seen.

Sorry man ive been looking at this for about 20min and i guess you can say im a bit confused, what is going on there? Where did u get the seed, or did u just like find this in the woods and thought it looked like weed or are the leaves just totally burnt up. Im curious to know, dont feel like im attacking you

If you harvest that thing just be SURE its marijuana before trying to smoke it.

so it looks in the pic as if you have another plant beside this one?? Dude thats not weed, or hell if it is im not sure i would wanna smoke it either. Are the pics just fooling my eyes or what, give us a few answers bro. I guess the other plant my look worse or what, maybe you should show another plant in a pic.

I may be wrong... but i think you're getting confused when it comes to trichomes.

to me it sounds like you're getting them confused with the calyxs'.

look at this picture CLOSELY

Trichomes are the tiny balls covering the calyx. they vary in colour depending on the maturity/potency of your plant, as you said.

i don't see many (if any) hairs on your plant also.

Looks like MJ to me. It's probably just a combination of weak genetics and a low (no?) veg time. It's also gone through stress, no doubt, so the leaves are all fucked. The leaves don't look like MJ leaves because they're all missing portions of the leaves, and some are only 3-leaved.

im sorry buddy, i dont want to be hating like everyone else but looking at the pic, it really doesnt seem like mj. do you have any better images that could help us determine and if it is, to better determine if it is ready for harvest?
