Hey guys, about a week ago I planted my first plants, and I've been growing them in my window, its alittle cold to grow them outside. The other day they just started to sprout, they look nice and healthy, and are growing pritty fast so far. My question is, will they stay healthy if I just take care of them and not use a heat lamp?

Also, I've been watering them every day, is this too much? im not sure on how often to water them.

a lamp definately wouldnt hurt. and dont water them so much. let the water dry out. i water my plants once every 3-4 days.

what you need to do is go buy some cheap flourescent lights and keep them on all day for about two months then in the meantime you need to save up about 250 dollars and buy a hps so you can flower.

they should be alright for right now. as time goes on the growth will probably start to slow cause they need more light. getting a couple CFL's wouldnt hurt. and their cheap. you can get a pair of 26w CFL's from walmart for $7 and a lamp for $9. a Y adapter from home depot for $2. thats a cheap setup for right now to help your grow.

Ok cool, i just went out and bought some lights for the plants, and got it all set up, but what about the hps light, you guys think they will be fine w/o one when it starts flowering?

If you can afford a HPS just get one. it will be worth it in the long run. You will yield much more. If not then i would say just plant that thing outside and let it become a huge monster... My uncles grows outside every year and gets about a pound off of each plant.... just my 2 cents...
