I plan on taking clones from my Afghan when I find out she's a girl and trying to flower them in the cups. I want to use a hempy bucket method for the cups. What is your medium right now? What have you tried b4?

Funny you should say. Currently using Hempy buckets. I am doing it a bit different though. I am using Sunshine Mix, its like 9-10 bucks a bag. It is great! I have also tried the perlite and vermiculite but didnt like it. I use 2 gallon buckets, hole drilled bout 2 inches up from the bottom for drainage. At the bottom of the bucket is hydroton, right up to the hole (it acts as the reserve). The rest is sunshine mix. Since it is soiless, it is hydroponic. I use hydroponic nutes, foxfarm growbig for veg, Tigerbloom for flowering. Adatives, Hydrogard - excellent! and Folvic acid excellent as well. Previously did a 6 plant bubbleponics set up. It was a pain in the ass compared to the hempy method. I am sold for life. I dont mind hand watering once or twice a week. I get to do something with the plants rather than stair at them :)
I also used bushmaster this time, They are currently 10 inches tall or so and flowering beautifully. Bushmaster is verrrry strong, if you consider it becareful! I also have Monster Bloom from Grotech. It nutes on roids lol. Give it one or two hits through out flower thats all.

simple solution that's fairly cheap would be to seal your plant(s) in that area, make sure its a light tight box. at the bottom of the box, your going to have an inlet with a fan covering the whole opening. That fan is going to be blowing air INTO the box. Same thing at the top of the box, your going to have the same set up, only this will be shooting air out of your box. With a sealed box, if your in a climate where your window can be open the majority of the time, i have a feeling its going to get pretty warm, especially in the box. So the fan at the bottom is going to pull in your "fresh air", and, as the air is shot into the box its going to travel up, due to the increase in temperature. Now, because hot air rises, and you don't want it to sit in the box and become stale, the fan at the top is going to recycle the air out of that area, which in turn will cause a draft, which will help moderate the temperature of the box and recycle the air back out into the room.

That's just an idea that ive personally used in the past, very helpful and cheap set up. Any other questions, just let me know, ill do what i can to help!

I wanted to use a perlite/soil mix. I'm sure you've heard of Dr BudGreenGenes. i want to do a setup pretty much like his, well as soon as I get my clones goin'. I'm impatient as hell. Although with the Dr's setup I would be watering once every 2 days I believe.... So at least I can do SOMETHING. I won't be doing as many plants as he has, I'll probably try 12 to start with... harvesting 1-2 plants every week, perpetual sog. Hey, variety's the spice of life, isn't it???

That's 12 plants in a 3ft X 1.5 ft X 3ft high space.............................................
