forgot to say they will be 3 weeks from flip on saturday
Looking good . Prime setup for me is a SCROG under an air cooled. Even with a regular reflector . Best spread of light.

Take some clones if you some sort of light for them. Run at least 18/6. Reveg and turn monster.

It doesn't look too bad for first attempt, some constructive feed back.

The net does not look very tight, the plants can push it up much easier reducing the even canopy. It does not look like you topped enough times and let them get big enough before you dropped in the net. If you have the space try to allow more room between pot/canopy so that root zone temps don't get to hot. Also, slightly bigger plants topped a little more will fill more of the canopy. You can also re tuck some branches into further away holes to shorten them down a bit during stretch. The plants in the top left/right and bottom right are a good visual example of that possibility.

What I personally would advise against is weaving branches under and over the net. It can lead to bud over lap and reduce airflow > potential rot. If a branch is getting way ahead of the rest, try to re-tuck it into a further away hole, as said.

You also have the option to use a second net higher up if they creep too much above the first one and get too heavy. Otherwise they will certainly fall over losing light intensity and once again bud over lap > rot potential.

some fair points there mate. and yeah your right the net isnt tight enough. and i did only top once which wasnt the plan i was going to veg for 3 more weeks but i am running out of smoke quick lol so i flipped early. with the net luckily i can move it up when needed or like you say add another 1. surely they wont stretch much more?

thanks for the info

Moving the net can create some damage, better not to do that if you can avoid it. It's a bit of a learning curve so don't worry too much about getting it wrong, although it's easier to recover from a net too high than too low. Stretch differs with a few factors but 2 to 3 weeks on avg. How much they stretch is also a big variance, how much you top, light heights and so much more. As an avg, if you top 3+ times and continue to re-tuck during stretch you can control them to around 6-8 inches higher from flip size. If you can't keep up/mess up with the tucking they will go 8+ and that's when you'll start seeing problems with heavy buds bending stems. Use an extra net if that becomes a regular issue, particularly if you are starting the scrog from mid veg, way harder to time/maintain flip size.

so gutted lights came on last night so i checked the plants to find the 2 in the middle (sticky sherbet) had both hermied so i had to cut the net to get them out amd move to diff room. so jow only got the 5 in there no net. and the grow was going so well.
