First Time Medical CFL Grow

I started a new thread in Grow Room Design and Setup, and then realized that this would be best posted in CFL growing. Me and my roommates are all medical patients and we are getting pretty sick of paying outrageous dispensary prices, so we decided to try our hand at growing.

Our Design: A 4'x2'x2' OSB box with a removable floor elevated about a foot above the ground. This allows us ample room for the plants to grow vertically, while also allowing us to have a removable tray below the plants where water can drip down onto.

For ventilation we have a 50 CFM bathroom fan inside running as our exhaust, and another 50 CFM bathroom fan running as our intake.

Lighting: Right now we have 7 x 23w soft white CFLs and 11 x 27w daylight CFLs for a total of 458 watts and I don't have the lumen numbers up but I believe we are sitting somewhere around 35,000....

The Plants: We have 2 Jack Herrer clones, 3 Wonder Woman clones and 4 bagseed plants (either Jack Frost or Tora Bora) with one of the bagseed plants having its own separate cooler until one of the ones in the growbox shows itself to be male.

Here are the seedlings early on in their lives

looks good man, um but I don't know about that fire hazard lookin cord tangle you got goin on there but as long as your cool with it :)

Well they have been in the box for about a week now. So far we have been giving them Technaflora nutes at about half strength every other day. The pH seems to be a bit alkaline, and the plants are loving the nutes so I think next watering session I will bump the nutes up to full strength.

A few pics:

In that last picture of the WonderWoman clone, the leaves seem so droopy, any idea why? We have a moisture meter and over-watering is not a problem, and all of the other plants seem to be doing well.

Well, we took out two of the supplemental lights, which brought the temperature down to about 86. The plants are doing great, and they are LOVING the nutes, however those WonderWoman's (WonderWomen?) in the back still seem less than healthy, other ideas?

Oh, and before the pics, I took these yesterday right as my roommates were finishing up the light fixture. As a result, the plants are now much closer to the lights.

PICS!!!

Well, it has been a while, but I finally got around to putting pictures on my computer.

The plants have been doing well, except for the fact that they are growing so fast that it has gotten almost impossible to stop them from lunging at the lights like kamikazes.

Oh, and we have an HPS coming in the mail now, we jumped ship on the whole CFL scene.
