First time journal first time hydro grower advice and tips appreciated

Hears my story I been around RIU for a long time, been growing in soil, always searched and found
most of my answers in the forums, so I never needed to post much. But hello all here I am !

I figured it was about time to do a grow log and since this is my first hydro
grow, I figured now is a good time to say HI!

As the title states first time hydro grower and all advice and tips appreciated and considered.

Heres what I have so far

4'x4'x6.5' tent
16" hurricane fan for air circulation
380 actual wattage Mars Hydro reflector series LED
home built by me RDWC
4 5Gallon buckets 4gallon reservoir
8" net pot bucket tops
total capacity 14 gallons filled to bottom of net pots
250 GPH aqua pump for water recirculation
air supply for stones is a very large pump cant find the specs but more than enough air
1 large air stone in each bucket about 2" around and 4" long
will be growing 4 dutch passion glueberry OG cloned from my soil grow

that's all for now , included pics of my set up what do ya think ?

Hey man, I have a similar story on RIU as well. I grow dwc but haven't gone about making a system like yourself. Yours is looking pretty clean, nice job. I would say its important to keep the temps on your water down, you might want to look into a water chiller down the line. You didn't mention what nutrients you would be using. I would recommend using the tea from this post. You could also get away with smaller net pots. I was using 10" but moved to 6" so i could use less rocks since I clean mine in between grows. I look forward to seeing your grow.

got my cuttings set up today , so far so good , to keep it simple I am using GH flora nova series nutes, here is an updated pic
