First time growing

I will use hormone if there's something I cant risk losing (probably 90-95% success when using hormone) and can take a cpl clones and pretty much guarantee they will root. Otherwise a lot of times I'll just throw a bunch of cuts in coco (what I use.. I would assume a neutral soil would work same way) when I trim the plants and keep it damp at all times. It may take a couple extra days and I may lose one or two but I try not to mess with the hormone too much.

I have tried the water technique and have never had much success.. I can clone houseplants in glasses of water no problem but for whatever reason I have not had minimal success with cannabis.

never got around to trying honey so let us know if you decide to go that route.
When my plants get big enough I'm going to do a few experiments in different technique I have seen. When it comes to that I'll share my results and post some pics

I looked in to cloning last night and I seen videos where people swear by just using water to clone. Does this actually work and I also seen some about using honey. Are these fake or does these techniques actually work.
Yeap, you can use water and honey

Alright. I'll probably going to try both ways and a few other ways I have seen. Another thing is the other day we was talking about composting soil. Have you ever tried making " compost tea " and is it really that effective? I been looking up the different in nutes people use and I really like the idea of trying to just use organic nutes because it support to make it taste better and to me taste is everything.

Yeah, I use AACT (tea). I like the effect they have, I hate cleaning buckets, stones and air lines after. Pretty sure you can just scratch in the amendment on top of the plant and get the same effect.

Teas are easy to start. Castings, Kelp, molasses.

Check the organics section of this site. Teas are a sticky.

No weeds, ivy, clover, chemicals, plastic, heavy inks etc. Not sure or contaminated start a new pile. Make sure to turn it once a week.

What is the best temp to keep plants? I don't really know how I can keep them any cooler than move them into the shade and I don' really want to do that. What do u think? I can't bring them inside. The last few days it been 90+

93+ is hot, but not too much can be done if they have been out there for more than 7 days already. If less than a week you can shade them some during the hottest part of the day. After a week or so they should be adapted fine.

My one plant has 4 good nodes and was wondering if I should top it but I don't know if I should. I have looked up if people top therebplants when there outdoors and some say you should just leave it others say you should just do it once so you get two main shoots and I've seen some that say they like about 7 to 8 main shoots. But none of them said why they do it (bigger yield, hide them better, etc.) I don't care about what size they get I have them in a good area where they won' t get see no matter how big they get. I'm just trying to get the most amount of bud I can get. What do y'll think.

They all are looking pretty good today. I had another one of the seeds pop up today. I think transplant shock was the problem. I gave the 3 older ones a 222 fert yesterday (idk what kind it was i found it in my shed and the label was fadded all a could see was the 2-2-2). I am still watering them every three days and there still in direct sun. Not the 2 younger ones I'm going to harden them off first just to make sure.

The biggest one. I don't know if I should top it or not. Iv read a lot of things about it and some say to leave it and some say to top it once. I know most people top there plants if they are indoors but what about outside.20180511_124358.jpg
The other 2 I started with. I know I can't top these yet.20180511_124407.jpg 20180511_124431.jpg

The one that popped up the other day. 20180511_124449.jpg

And last but not lease the one that popped up today20180511_124458.jpg

Don't really have any questions today other than about the topping. I just posted the pics so if any of y'll see anything that I should be worried about y'll tell me please. I know from working in the citrus nursery that that there us very small things that you don' think would matter will kill the plant and this is my first time growing mj so like I said if you see anything wrong with the plant or what I am doing please tell me.

Greetings, they look better. I would wait until around the 5th node to top or fim them. Sorry if you already posted this but are those bagseed or bought genetics? Female's or unknown? If bag was it high grade or brick pack?

Only chron I ever found in FL was from myakka back in the day before it was legal.

All of them are bag seeds the first three are just from some brick weed, the ones that I started later was some pretty decent bud. The one biggest one looks like it's going to be female bud not real sure, all the other ones ain' showing any sign of there sex.

When you grow out doors do you top or fim them and how many of the main stalks do you like?
I like 8 ft across in ground trees. At some point I would fim or top every thing at least once unless it becomes too time consuming.

It's going to be big as containers allow even if you don't as long as you keep it feed and bugs or weather don't get it

Ive never grown outdoor, however I top/fim my plant indoor as I use a tent. Reason is I have limited light in my tent and I want to maximise it to bud site. Some do it also to control height.. when growing outside its a different story.. the light they receive from the sun is strong and have big penetration inside the canopy so its less of a concern.

I know that doesnt help much but I dont think youll get more or less yield topping your plant or not while growing outdoor. My 2 cent

Well I'm pretty sure mine won't get 8 ft across if I keep them in the 3 gallon buckets I have them in. If I keep them in the same containers should I be worried about them getting root bound and will that kill them. I don't to put them in the ground because when it' a very wet area.
