First Time Growing: Need Help!

this is what i got so far... african violet potting mix... 40 watt flourescent lights 2 each.. and tomoatoe nutrients/organic.. i need advise if my pottin mix is right and the tomatoe nutrients???

dont use that stuff boss... 40 watt flourescent lights 2 each.. and tomoatoe nutrients/organic...please just get some floranova its kinda cheap and a 150w hps and get something half way decent any...

that setup is fine if you are looking to grow an eigth in two months... if you don't kill them first...

african violet potting mix is not right. you're even better off with miracle grow. And two 40W flouros... barely enough to get that eigth for two plus months work and attention

if you're going to do something, do it right. get at least a 200W hps...

Yeah that soil is defiantly not going to work. If you want to keep your seedlings, and need a cheap/ quick transitional fix, then buy a few 6500k CFLs (just temporary), transplant those plants into new soil (Im using Jungle Growth from Lowes, cheap and is doing awesome for me so far). That should give you some time to get that new HPS and get re-organized
