First Time Growing Marijuana - HELP with suggestions and advice my fellow smokers !!

Is this Growing Rate good? Does the plant look in good condition? How much longer do I have to wait ? Is this the Vegetation period on week 3? Any Suggestions Guys?
I live on the 10th floor so basically my lighting is direct sun for 12-14 hours. I water it every 2 days. What else should I do for faster growth ?

There is nothing you can do to speed growth, other than have patience..don't water until the pot is light and just wait...it takes usually a few months to finish a grow...

I judge by weight more than "dryness". When you water, pay attention to how much the pot weighs. Then when it gets a lot lighter, you know that it's time to water. They look like they could use more light imo.

Hi, I was told by several growers, that you lift the pot your plant is in, If it is light and easy to lift it needs watered, if its heavy then it doesnt, I have moved from soil to hydroponics so havent had to learn a lot about soil growing...hope that little bit of info helps, you can also buy a gauge that tells you if the plant is wet or dry ..you stick it in the soil by the roots ...
so Far I have killed off several plants learning to do hydroponics but I think I finally have it down to a science...LOL.. I have 3 plants one is doing really good the other two area quite a bit slower in growth and one I had transplanted from soil to hydro as it was dying anyway so i figure what they heck...lol...
Pics added ... Have a good day all, and Good Luck with your growing...Gabby
This first Pic is the plant that is doing great so far..growing fast and looking really good I think this one is Chernobyl

This is the second plant, its a Kush cant remember the Name so far it seems to be
doing OK, but it is growing way slower than the other plant and they were transplanted at
the same time...

This one I transplanted from Soil to Hydro, it wasnt doing too well in
soil, it seems to have perked up a tiny bit, but still not lookin too good
any Ideas?

THis is the same plant as the Pic above just a bit closer
so you can see the leaves a bit better...

It is exciting when you first start out...Hell I still have been known to overdo things in haste...and sometimes I totally ignore the plants til they are just all wild in the space...and I can assure you that they prefer to be left alone...but when you leave them alone they have strange things happen that never happened when you were loving them to death...I'll get it one day...or just stop growing in summertime one...

Holy hell...I had the opposite transition always...in hydro I have a twisty dried dead stick and in soil a lush beautiful plant...can't do hydro at all...I use a hydro DIY cloner and I can't even leave the clones long...or rather I won't...I have just seen too many plants wither up and die right in front of me...I started out trying hydro...could not get it at all... Have recently tried using coco and got super awesome results the very first time I used it...and I think it is about as hydro as I really need to be...or can manage being...

WOW !!! your plants look gorgeous, can't wait for mine to grow !!! I will check the weight next time I water the plant, though I usually water it after 2 days or so. I was thinking to use some nutrients 20 20 20. You guys think its a good idea at this early stage?

I am not a regular grower so I don't really want to try all the different type of equipment just YET and besides the country I am living in currently, its kind of crazy with the police so don't want to get into problems. The last time I planted a seed, it grew up to 6 leaves and then I fucked it up by over doing everything. I just hope this gives good results!!

By the way, how long has it been since those beautiful strains have been planted?

Your right, I will judge the weight next time I water so I know in the future when to water. I usually leave it in my Balcony from morning till the sun goes and then keep it inside the house with little fan running towards the plant. Heard it makes the stems thicker If the plants have movement all the time !!

Wow !!! Your plants look absolutly gorgeous !! How long has it been since you planted them and how much longer more you have to wait !!! ;)

Well, I am in a country where it's really strict rules against Mary Jane, so I do not want to get into problems with the stupid Police !! Though for the future, I would definitely try using the hydroponics, because it looks easier!

I am not a professional but I saw a nice documentary where they said when its the flowering period, you should give it more phosphorous and less nitrogen and potassium every 2 other watering.

Thank You pimpmasta4u, They are ready to flower, but so far I have found out that I dont have to flower them unless I want to I can let them grow as long as I want, I am now just waiting for my other two plants to catch up once they do I will start the flowering that will be in about 4 to 6 weeks from what I understand or 60 days I need to confirm that with this botonologist ( spelling?) Plant person lol..that I met thru another patient, I am trying to learn to clone now, so far not doing real well but once I get it and get the hang of how its done, then I will be on a roll lol...I Hope they make it legal everywhere, I was so happy when they did here, even with all the rules, which arent too hard to follow....so far I havent had any probs with police, YET, dont want to jinx myself...soon as I can get my camera to take some pics without that yellow I will post I think I need to turn off the big light and put a smaller watt to take the pics, I am also going to try to do a few in soil, as everyone keeps saying its a forgiving way to grow but I already spent all this money on hydro so wont be going to soil a lot...You have a good day

I been gone so long that I have harvested, dried, and cured the one I had so much problem with I am now on my second plant "ATF" and last time I learned the hard way about spider mites but hey I know what do do and how to know one when I meet them...lol...so now I just have to get a TDS meter, that I am told Is a must for hydro growers, this time though I am going to take starts aka clones..wish I had on the other it turned out really really good,...so soon as I get that meter, I will again post a pic and hopefully they will be better...though knowing me, I have a new lessen coming up...im sure, always did have to turn a simple thing into a major "ahem" rofl...
