Hey, me and my girlfriend have decided to dabble in growing, we've tried to do research online but of course there are a lot of varying opinions out there.
Ill give you a quick low down on the knowledge I currently have and the equipment I so far posses.

Ok, so.. I bought a small tent, metal structure because apparently the plastic are a pile of wank. It came with an hugely oversized 'dual spectrum' light bulb, plug and holder for the light, some rope thingys to suspend them and then I went out and bought a carbon filter and extractor fan, it's circulating air just fine, I'm pretty happy with it seen as though its low budget however I've only done a short test to make sure it was all working.

I've purchased 5 gorilla glue #4 auto fem seeds. Tip on best way to germinate? I've used the pre soak method in a cup and water with a pH of 5.89....so I'm pretty much at the very beginning haven't even put my seeds in a paper towel yet. It's the whole, veg--> to flowering to bloom thing I don't understand, how long lights need to be on what nutrients to feed it,

Quick note I've bought formulex full feed shiz is that okay to use ALL the way through growing or will I need other nutes? Any other general advice on first time growing let me know. It'd be much appreciated :)

One love.

I'm a first time grower as well, I'm growing 4 plants indoor inside my shed. I'll state some facts that I have been told and know that may help.
-vegging you're plant means you are giving it more light then dark, durring veg most people keep the light on for 18hr and off for 6. I vegged my plants for like 6 weeks so idk if that's good or not lol.
-Bloom and flowering is basically the same I would say, but flowering is when you switch you're lights to 12on 12 off, once you start giving it more dark it sends a signal to the plant that's it time to start flowering(producing buds). I have my lights hooked up to a timer so I never have to worry about missing the light cycle. Once you change you're light cycle to 12/12 it can take 2-5 weeks before you even start seeing the plant actually start to flower(patience is key)

-Nutrients I use are Fox Farms, they are organic nutrients and it's a 3 pack. You use two of the bottles together durring veg and once you start noticing flowers in bloom stage you start to use the 3rd bottle. It's organic nutrients so you shouldn't be left with a bad taste when your product is finished. Theirs also a fox farm feeding schudule for "SOIL" growers. The bottles also explain it easy.

I also have my plants in 10 gallon pots and wish I would of used like a 3 gal or 5 gal. I gotta water it to much water in the 10 gallon pot so think about that as well. And I usally have a bit of run off water so figure out a spot where that extra water can go.

And some people don't believe this, but the day you switch you're plants from veg to flower, within a month your plant will double its size sometimes even Tripple so be careful with your space and put them into flower earlier then I did!!
