Alright so me and a buddy of mine started two plants about a month ago (I don't even smoke, haha) and up until about a week ago everything was great. Then he sent me a picture message and our largest of the two plants (about 1.5 feet tall and 8 inches wide) all of the sudden wilted terribly and I believe is now dead (I can't be sure as I am at school most of the time and my buddy takes primary care of them). Before its demise I noticed that the edges of the leaves became discolored. Not necessarily yellow but a lighter shade of green from the rest of the leaf rather. Anyway I may be answering my own question but, could this be do to possible shock I may have sent it into? In the course of one day we transplanted to plant into a larger pot, changed the brand of plant food we were giving it and changed the light cycle from 24 hours a day to 22 hours a day. I also noticed that my friend would pour the water into the pots rather than spray it on (as we had it in a spray bottle). There were drainage holes in the pots but could he have over watered? Have I answered my own question or could someone provide a better diagnosis?
