Here are a few pics of the light setup...I'm still working on perfecting it. The overhead light assembly is something I made from scrap from around my house...an old stove pipe, and a junky old lamp! I have 2 68watt 2700K big boys in that and then I have 3 of the power-strip assemblies, with the 26watt bulbs, that I position around the plants. I wish I could provide a better pic of the home-made light assembly but I'd have to take it down. I got the idea, tho, from a youtube video! I also have 2 4ft shop lights each with 1 6700k tube and 1 2700K tube, that are propped in the corners...not really sure if they do much but the more light the better right? I attached my power-strips to pieces of 2x4 to add weight and stability. That's about it! I hope this helps! Now I'm gonna' go smoke some dank!! :eyesmoke:

:leaf: Update pics! Plants are doing fantastic! It's looking like all these babies are going to be female. Plant #1 (plants are numbered 1-4 starting at top left) is confirmed fem, with several preflowers showing white hairs. Plants 2-4 all have fem looking preflowers I'm just waiting for the hairs to pop! I'm keeping my fingers crossed here. This is turning out to be a very satisfying first grow altho we are only halfway there we still have the flowering phase so keep watching peeps! As soon as the last 3 plants show their sex, I'll start them flowering! :leaf:

You can really flower them whenever. You seem to have plenty of room so just take into account the fact that longer veg = bigger plants but the soon you start flowering the sooner you can harvest haha. Those are the only things you really need to take into account when figuring when you want to flower them.

The plants are just trucking along here. Flowering began on 12/10/10 (yesterday) Because I have a bit of extra room I decided to add 4 12/12 from seed just for shits n gigs! =) 2 of the plants are def fems but the other 2 plants are being a bit elusive as to their sex...they look fem but haven't popped any hairs, but I didn't want to wait any longer, to flower, because the 1 plant is getting quite large. I wish I could post some good pre-flower picks but my camera is being stubborn and will not focus! These plants have only had 3 diluted doses of nutes so far and I was curious to know if this is too little? I'm a bit leary about adding too much nutes but have I not been adding enough? How often should I add nutes and when should I start adding molasses to the mix? Please help guys!!

Update pics! Plant #4 was male and had to be ousted! =( So I am left with 3 beautiful fems!! Plant #1 had a horrible accident which snapped the main stem but after some quick medical intervention (band-aid!!) she seems to be healing pretty well. It's a wait and see game! It has certainly slowed her growth a bit but I bet she throws off the tastiest buds!! =D Don't let the pics fool ya, there isn't as much lime green, in the new growths, as the pics portray. All of the plants are a nice, healthy green! I also threw in 2 12/12 from seed as an experiment. I'm posting an old pic from the beginning of the grow, for comparison. Remember plants are numbered 1-5 starting from top left....plants 2 and 4 were male and hence, immediately evicted from the garden.
