First Time Grower..Rep for input/advice

I am currenty awaiting my first batch of seeds from Attitude (White Widow x Big Bud, KiwiSkunk, Onyx, ALL FEMINIZED). While waiting, I took it upon myself to build a growbox. I made it out of an old shelf that was sitting around my house. It stands about 2 ft. tall and is about 2 ft. wide. I made sure to rig it good so that no light gets inside & foiled it as well. I took one of the shelves and designed a lighting unit by using mounting tape and 2 two foot flourescent grow lights at 75 watts each. I bought two 6 in. self-watering flower pots and a small fan for the inside of the growbox. I purchased Miracle Gro Organic potting soil to start my project as well. I wasnt sure on what fertilizer I should get, because my Wal-Mart has limited fertilizers. Anyone have any input, suggestions, tips, etc? I would appreciate anyone's feedback!

I've never heard of self watering pots. Good find! I almost bought 3 boxes of those watering globes at lowes today and i put them back at the last second. I think you might want to add more light, some hanging daylight CFLs for instance. You could do so for less than $20, figure 2 bulbs per plant. You might also want to raise your pots closer to light for younger plants.

If you intend to flower in there, use autoflowers or begin flowering very early. Your box won't be tall enough to handle the growth otherwise. You could also LST or supercrop.

Looks good.Are you sure those are actual watts?I think that might be the equivalent wattage.Eventho i think you are going to need more lighting.

i use technaflora nutes,but use whatever floats ur boat
people claim to have good results using mg products
as for ur box,what method of grow do u plan on doing?

or 12/12 start to finish

yeah more light def, but sounds like a great start and those are some great strains your going to be growing

I appreciate all the feedback. I need as much as I can get. As far as the lighting goes, that's what I read on the box (produces 75 watts each). I have been researching growing methods for the past 3 weeks and I still haven't got it together yet. I was also wondering what would be good to flower larger plants in on a budget?

Whats the budget?If you dont have a closet try taking a dresser or try building a box way cheaper then ordering 1 for 100+ dollars.
Also to flower add as many cfls in 2700k spectrum around the plant or just get a hps system.A 150 watt only cost 69.99
