- Hi, im à first Time grower so far everything Is going well but i think i might havé too many light compared to number of plants. Theres my setup;
Room of 24x17'. Splitted in 2 with 10. 1k HPS on each side on 12/12 lights alternate on 10 ballast with relays
on one side there 60 jack Herer (6 per light) vegged 3 weeks from roots clones
on thé other i havé 8 lights of m39 vegged 6-7 weeks at 4 by light and 14 rasta under 2 light vegged for 6 weeks also
They are all at FLO+12 atm
Problem number one; heat; my day temps in each room sit at 29-30c lights open ans 22-23 lights off.
How bad Is it and will it effect my yield alot?
Problem number two; light ; Whats thé idéal distance for 1000w non cooled i searched around and everybody says different things. They currently sit at 30 inch of top.
Last question Is ; should i pût more plants per light ? Ratas and m39 have been topped and made clones from.
If needed ill post pics tomorrow
P.S. I know starting this big Is not so smart but ive had à really good deal on it

Lol chilly. Turn lights on u want to keep em around 73/80 has worked good for me

WOW, that's a lot of lights, but 73-85 isn't bad at all for so much light.
It's a little warmer than you want, (85) but I don't think it will bother them too much, as long as you keep a good watering regime, and keep control of the RH.
My area gets up to 85 or so frequently, but my plant is doing fine.

^^29 Degrees Celsius is 84.2 Fahrenheit..
1. That sounds like a nice setup.. Do you have any fans/intake/outakes going?
As for the yeild it depends how long they've been in flower.. The earlier the temps are under control the better... But they are not that high.. Ideally between 75-85 F is good..
2. 1000's should generally be kept at minimum 2' away, so your not far off with 30''.. You could move them a little closer, just watch for light burn
3.1000 watters can cover up to a 5x5 area.. So.. If there is room, go for it

Lol n.d thats a hell of a setup.. Everything sounds good thoough man.. Other than the temps, which aren't even that bad.. your humidity is decent too.. What nutes are you using??

Sounds OK, a little high with lights off, so you probably will want to keep your fan going 24/7.

It does those lines because of your light...HPS are super hard to take pics with but nice setup hope goes well for u

hey guys , i recently started growing some jack herer and i have a few questions i hoped some of you could answer. I have 5 plants growing in a cupboard jack herer feminized 
,im wondering yeah ,how much am i supposed to be watering them? im about 16 days in or so ,i got this nutrition stuff and its only explaining how to feed em on a mass scale and i only got 5 plants so its difficult to know exactly how much to give em ,i got this stuff called dutch pro a and b and i have been giving them about half a lid full off both bottles mixed separately with 300 mls of water each and then feed the 5 plants once a week its been on tuesday so far and i have been giving them bits of water and spraying them evryday nont directly onto the leaves but ionto the top fo the soil when its been dry,how much should i be watering them really and do you think im giving them enough nutrition?,i gotta cfl on em now a few inches up, i took em down to a few days ago so now the light is closer to the plant ,i can get pics up soon but i wana wait a bit longer when they should hopefully be looking a lot bigger ,sorted guys?
