Hey i was just wondering can i use a 24/0 straight from germination?

so lets say i germinate the seed in a paper towel then place it about half and inch under soil then straight from there give it 24 hours a day of light? or would this somehow kill it.

im new to plant growing and any type of horticulture to be honest.

any help would be great.

and 1 more question. i bought seeds from attitude and the height says short. so im guessing it will be around 1 foot high or a little more. any suggestions on the type of bulb i should use for just 1 plant. i have my medical card so its legal and its my own use. im just going to start off with 1 plant in a pot around 6 inches high and 8 inches wide.

thanks in advanced!

24 hours a day is fine - I actually prefer to start plants off on this cycle then change to 18/6 after 2-3 weeks...I reckon more light at the beginning makes them grow slightly faster when they're starting

I do exactly as you do as well. 24/0 for a while then 18/6. But I've actually been flowering from seed recently and my plants look STUNNING!!!

i have only just started growing, got 2 plant 18/6 under a 400 hps and 2 plants 24/0 under 2x125w cfls and the cfls are looking much better and caught up in size although the hps started 5 days before.
