First time grower, having issues.

Hey all, I seem to be having an issue with leaves curling upwards in early veg stage. It seems to be happening on every new leaf as well. Besides this the plant seems to be sturdy. I tried to straighten one of the leaves and it actually broke open. I am wondering if I should remove this leaf or let it die?

Details of my grow are:

- T5 fluorescent
- Distilled water(no fert)
- Organic soil grow medium

It's extremely dry where I live(16-20) indoor humidity and my temp in the grow room is reading 80-90. I bought a humidifier to compensate for this and started to get white mold showing up. I took a pic to show what is happening. I searched online and can't find any information on this specific issue, they all have browning it seems which I don't.



Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow... Some stressed plant you got there. Lock out of some sort and might be Phosphorous due to pH, I'm not soil grower so you'll need to wait for someone with a more experience in this area.

Have you checked the pH of the soil run off? If so post what it is to help others help you. Along with the nutes, and NPK values, you are using and the amounts.

Thank you Silicone, I will try to figure it out. I might go with soil less mix next grow I do.. I hate guess work. :(

Are you looking at the same plant? There is definitely some yellow patches and spotching going on.

Leaf roll tends to occur in hot, dry growing conditions or when soils become waterlogged. Injury to the roots may also trigger leaf curl. The edges of the leaves roll up and inward, and the leaf may develop a leathery texture

Found that online. Try bringing the temps down.

I was giving it a 3-2-4 veg solution, not sure if that's advised this early in growth. I only used it in one watering after these issues arose. I was using nothing but



Distilled water

and the 3-2-4 solution in one watering after I started getting the leaf curling. I used some smart water my wife brought home like a retard as well. Not sure if that's causing the browning.

Have the plant about 10-12 inches away from the lights. I read somewhere to put the plant 6 inches or less away from the light so I did that. Maybe the heat from the lights is caused the curling? I have a fan blowing toward the plant/light so it shouldn't be too much of an issue right?
