Week 15
In week 15 I gave the final feeding, as both plants are now being flushed. The eleven roses looks to be just about ready, maybe just a few more days or a week tops.
The Cotton Candy on the other hand still looks to have at least 2 weeks, with tons of long white pistils still.
Days 105-108
The first half of this week I still fed the Cotton Candy, but I begun flushing the eleven roses.
Nothing else all that notable happened this week. Just watering, and smelling the flowers as much as possible!
Days 108-111
In the second half of the week, I begun flushing the Cotton Candy. Since these plants won't be ready at the same time, and the only place I can actually dry these plants is in this tent they're currently growing in, I've consulted someone I consider a seasoned grower.
His advice was to let the Eleven Roses run long, and harvest it late once the Cotton Candy is ready. There may be some degradation of THC, but for the most part, he thinks it will just create more of a body high rather than messing with potency too much.
You can compare the bud development of the two strains below, starting with Eleven Roses followed by Cotton Candy.
I haven't examined trichomes with a magnifying glass yet since I don't have one, but I will be picking one up from a friends house this week now these are closer.
Another think I did in the second half of the week was pull the Eleven Roses upright with a shoestring, as the entire plant was leaning one direction with the majority of colas laying on one another.
I just wrapped it around the main stalk and tied it to one of the tent poles to pull the plant upright.
You can also tell how much further along the Eleven Roses is based off leaf color. When looking at the two plants, there are more fall colors on this one compared to the Cotton Candy, which is still mostly green.

Week 16
This week was more flushing and waiting. I now have my hands on a magnifier so I can more closely examine trichomes to tell when it's harvest time. You'll see that in the second half of the week.
Days 119-121
There isn't much to say, as I really have not done anything other than water and watch.
I've noticed that the leaves are dying at a rapid pace on the Eleven Roses, as this one is just about ready.
The Cotton Candy on the other hand is still a ways away, with tons of stringy white hairs on the buds still.
Hopefully, it starts fattening up and ripening in the coming days.

In the second half of this week I was able to get a magnifier so I could get a better idea of what I'm looking at.
You can make a decent estimation with the naked eye, but inspecting trichomes is how you can tell exactly when to harvest.
Based on the trichomes, it looks like even the Eleven Roses has a bit to go. The trichomes are mostly milky, with no amber trichs.
And, you can see that the Cotton Candy definitely still needs to ripen. As you can see below, it's trichomes aren't even all milky, some are still relatively clear.

Hey Teag, was just going through my journal and realized I forgot to reply to your comment, how rude of me! You are right, I had deficiency for sure, after I saw your comment I eventually started feeding heavier. Thanks for helping out!
