First time grower, experimenting with CFL and Sterilite Box

Today the Skunk #1 is 35 days old and the Sour Kush is 34, Week 1 of flowering :). Here's a pic:

Ordered a computer fan for $1.50 from Amazon.com...you just can't beat that lol. Going to set it up in my intake since I've noticed the humidity going up at night when the lights are off. Not trying to deal with fungus issues later. Well that's all for now, will have a more detailed update sometime next week.

I followed this thread for a while when I lurked. I see youre on a roll now as far as growing.

Im using a 45 and a 50 gallon Sterilite with cfls.....My only hang up is the damn fans. I know a PC fan wont be strong enough to pull air through a carbon scrubber. Any ideas??
 
Are they stacked on top like mine? Maybe there is a way you could mount an airline fan...picked one up for my closet from Amazon for about $29.99. You'd also be surprised by some PC fans...especially the ones designed to cool decked out gaming rigs.
 
hey lady... been awhile. Ill post on mine tonight when light on. But yeah... pc fans work great. going to grab 2 140mm 3000rpm 150cfm fans on payday for new cabinet. :) When cabinet is done Ill start a new thread. looks like my box is gonna be my mum and clone box. making cabinet as a flower box. will fill in on my thread and new thread for cabinet as I need some ideas from ppl.

Hello everyone :). Before I get started... got into it with an internet troll recently on a different thread. Guess they were feeling salty and saw fit to come rate this thread with 1 star :finger:. So it now rates as a 3 star thread. Show me some love and help me get it back up to five! :leaf::hug:

It is now Week 1 of flowering. Am starting to see pistils coming out of many places, and have quite a few nice tops that I'm hoping will be holding some dank nugs. In the photo below it might look like some of the leaves are discolored / lighter, but that's just all the new growth that's been occurring where my future colas will be. Looking at my girls I feel pride, I know they're going to be fire!

I made one of those exact grow box its good for cloning n veg.I tried to flower in my setup needless to say it wasn't big enough I bought a 32x32 tent and a 400 hps yield was 4 times as much with the new tent vs.the tote.its a waste of time to try n flower in a box so small but just my opinion good luck
 
nice grow m8. i got the same thermometer / humidity reader but mine hasnt moved off 20% in 4 weeks i think humidiy part of mine is broken haha
