First time-grower, a little experiment

ok so I'm having some doubts about doing this grow...I live at home with my parents and they dont really go in the backyard very often but I'm a little scared of someone finding out and me getting in trouble or something

what should i do about this?

ok so heres whats going on...

I have 4 out of a large quantity of bagseeds that are growing nicely right now and one that germinated like 1/3 of the way ... lol

i just threw the rest that didnt germinate in one cup of soil hoping at least a couple more would grow

ill take some pics as they get bigger, and i doubt that I will be able to harvest these plants...this is just something to help me get some experience for when i wanna grow for real later on

I also have a friend who wanted to try using piss and he just pisses on them daily he just started like a few days ago I will let you all know if it works.

i was reading in another weed-growing forum that urine is pretty much a perfect fertilizer, and all natural - it has all NPK, and micronutrients

all you have to do is dilute it 1:10 with water and its suitable to water and fertilize plants

urine has a super high concentration of Nitrogen, an excess of it can be deadly to your plants. with fertilizers being made so inexpensive, why not just go get a box of Miracle Gro All Purpose Ferts for like 3.99 and call it a wrap?

Hey man you can buy some blood meal at lowes or home depot, for about $2.98 cheaper than drinking to pee, anyways thats a great scource of nitrogen, you can also just buy a plant food you use a couple drops in a diluted pail of water and that has a good ratio of nitogen also with p and k at the proper ratios, anyways good luck, save up $10. and buy some ferts at lowes it'll be easier to fertilize without that nasty taste youll get with urine. SMOKE ONE

i dont see why you guys are trying to change my mind about this, i already said im not spending any money on ferts, and how am i paying to pee? i pee from water i dont pay for

and it has already been previously stated that urine is already a good enough fert

Do you know anyone who has had good results growing cannabis using their own human excrement? Do you know of any studies that says "yes - piss works better than any other fertilizer on the market" ? Let me ask you this, since you know everything around piss - if its so much better than all the other organic or in-organic ferts that are widely available why dont they still use it? Why dont they bottle human piss and sell it if its that great?

And to answer your question, I think before modern chemicals they used all organic compost which included but not limited to cow manure, bat guano, kelp, worm castings, blood/bone meal, fishmeal, sea bird guano, crab meal, alfalfa meal, epsom salt, cotton seed meal, phosphate rock, gypsum, zinc sulfate..uhh..those are the only ones i can think of off the top of my head.

I never said it wouldnt work, I never said it was a bad idea.. I asked U a simple fucking question, and gave u a simple suggestion...and if U have to say things and ask questions like:

I will plant them in pots and plan to pee on them for fertilizer and will leave them outside to let nature do its work.

What should I be expecting?

and another question - theres some old fertilizer in the garage but its been there for maybe a year or maybe one or two more, is it still good?

and another thing - im pretty sure something is coming out because my pee is always really yellow after i take the multi vitamin so theres some excess coming out

but i still think you're not representing how urine can be utilized correctly, lots of people have used this method in another forum i go to just read this thread HomeGrown420 - Can I use my urine as a fert. (OG refugee thread)

and what you said about peeing on it killing it, yes of course it will kill it because it it is too strong, its why youre supposed to dilute it before watering it to the plant

I haven't done extensive research either, but I saw on the wikipedia article that there has been success with using urine as a fert. Human urine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Im also a college student, and right now Im unemployed so I know all about inexpensive grows. Like I said Im not downing urine as a fertilizer, Im just saying that its other better alternatives whether organic or inorganic, most of them are quite inexpensive and can produce better results.

I read thru that entire thread and I only saw like 3 people who had anything good to say about growing with urine, and 2 of them cited what other people had done, not themselves. I saw someone say they mix it with their compost, which is ok bcuz the compost is the actual food, the urine is the supplement.

I know that Urea is good for growing, but its not actually Urine, Urea is the byproduct of ammonia and nitrogen - that would work fine for vegging but in flowering the plant will require more P&K. Plus Urea is more so a supplemental fert, not a main source for food.

But if U have the right soil mix (MG Organic choice or a custom mix of organic ingredients) then you wont need the trace elements provided by the urine.

Hopefully you've been doing your reading and watching the DVDs on growing so you will have a good idea on what U need to do. I still dont think its such a great idea unless Ur using it as a supplement W/other ferts but its your grow, not mine.

I would recommend testing this feeding method on a tomato plant first. They grow in a similar fashion to cannabis.

as i said before, this grow isnt really done for a large yield in the future. I'm just trying to get my hand on growing with some bag-seeds so i can get some experience for when i try to do something for serious.
