First Time Grow with CFLs and Fluor Tubes

So, after smoking for several years now I'm finally going to really try and start growing. I've gathered a bunch of things already and have a sprout in a rockwool cube.
(I had a nice plant going ~6-7inches tall, but my cat ate it last night :wall:)

I have a few questions for anyone that can answer:

1) I have my plant in some coco in a pot.
Is it okay to use just this as a medium? If not, what else should I mix it with? If I were to start a bubbler system up, can I use the coco I have now with it?

2) Currently I have x2 2ft Fluorescent tubes (not sure on the color temp) and x1 26w CFL (again, not sure on the color temp. the package doesn't say) I also have a 4ft fluorescent fixture with reflector/hood in the garage that holds 2 bulbs.
What bulbs should I get for the 4ft fixture? Once I get the bulbs, will my plant have enough light for vegging? If not, how much more will I need (I plan on buying more CFLs)? I don't have the money for an HPS/MH light. Will I need even more lights for flowering or can I use what I have already?

3) For nutrients I have 'General Hydroponics Floralicious Plus - Super Concentrated Nutrient Enhancer'
it's 2-0.8-0.02
Do I need to get another or different nutrient for my plant or will this be fine by itself? If I need more nutrients, am I better off buying fertilizer from HomeDepot/Lowes or should I get nutes from my local growshop? ( I eventually plan on getting a bubbler system going)

Thanks for the help in advance.

I would stick to soil for the first grow just add the cocco husk to the soil if the roots are intangled if not get rid of the husk and use soil. You will hear alot of talk about the ph of the soil this is not nessessary all you need is to know the ph of the feed that you are feeding.Get the one out of the garage and have this along with the other light[flouresent tube] over the tops of the plants. But you want white daylight spec cool for the top lights. On your g room walls get 2 cfl's on each side 1 cool and 1 warm white again daylight spec. This will give the plant light on the sides when it get bigger. But you want the top lights has close has possible this is the only way to get the best out of the lights you are useing. You want close internodes closer the better bigger yeild. You will also need a small fan blowing at the plants.Make a box set up with 2 hole cut in the side so that you can put two computor fans in the sides one to get stagnent air out of the g~room and one to push fresh air in.The nutrients sound fine but make sure to read the back of the tub add a small ammount when the plants are realy young and you should grow a ok crop. But you are gonna hate this one once the crop is done get rid to friends/family who smoke so that you can get a good h.p.s and a good exaust fan and then you will be growing big ammounts. You can still keep the first room for getting seeds going and clones.

Well, I seemed to have ran into a problem with my 4ft fixture. Since the area I'm growing in has a slanted ceiling, I can either have the light hanging from the slanted ceiling, or I could fit it horizontally along the back wall. Either way, it's not going to be ideal.

this is one nice trait of cfl's, you can pack them pretty much anywhere
this, of course, does not help with your fixture
