First time..Grow tent

Im thinking about setting up a 9'x5''x6' grow tent with 2 1000w lights, 2 4x4 trays with 12 plants on each tray, using a flood n drain setup.

I havent bought anything yet im trying to get input before i pull the trigger on anything.

lights--im thinking i need something air cooled with 8" duct. Im hoping I can use 1 big inline fan to cool the lights, pull the air out of the room and filter it. Is that possible?

Start the duct inside the tent so its sucking the air from in the tent then going thru the 2 lights then a inline fan then the filter then venting outside the tent.
will that work? Does it make sence?

Or should i run a separate fan for lights and filter?

for the lights- draw the air from outside the tent thru the lights then out the other side of the tent.

for the filter- hang it from the top of then tent sucking the air thru the filter exhausting it out the tent

For fresh air ill keep a vent hole open at the bottom of the tent to draw in air and have 2 circulating table fans to keep the air moving around inside the tent

I got more ??s but i wanna get this part worked out before I ask any more..

thanks

Actually the idea setup you would do if you wanted to use one intake and exhaust to vent the tent and also cool the lights it would go something like this.

Hook the fan straight to the filter and have the air pulling in from the filter...through the fan...through ducting to light 1...out of light 1 through ducting to light 2...and then from light 2 through ducting out of the tent. Its better to pull through a filter then to push through a filter....and this way you know that nothing is leaking between the fan and filter and as long as you are using a passive intake there will be negative air pressure thus making sure that no stinky air escapes the tent.

i think ill do the second method i described..2 fans 1 for the lights and another for the filter.

looking on htgsupply i see 2, 8" inline fans made by can 1 is 737cfm ($284.50) the other is 483cfm ($264.50) im leaning towards the 737cfm as its only 20 bucks more and im sure thats PLENTY of cfm to pull the heat thru only a 9ft long tent with only short slowly sweeping bends in the duct as I have to move the lights higher when the plants grow, i want to keep the lights as close to the plants as i can OBVIOUSLY so for 20$ more it seems like a ni brainer to me

now onto the exhaust/filter on htgsupply i found a carbon filter/fan combo kit 424cfm 6" fan with a 9.5"x18" filter ($185) it only takes 102cfm to vent an 8x8x8 room in 5 minutes so the 424cfm fan should be plenty to vent the 8' x 4.5' x 6.5' tent.

Am I thinking correctly so far.....any imput would help..

ill move onto ballasts and hoods next
