My friend and I gathered up 30 seeds about 4 months ago we saved from bags of smoke we had bought. We got about 10 of them to germinate and grew them under fleurescents and Spot Grow lighting. Of those 10 a couple died and 1 was male so we were left with 5 females that started to bud. I dont think the buds were fully matured when we clipped them but most of the hairs were reddish/brown.
We just cropped out, hung them to dry for a few days. Tonight we cut the buds up individually and put them all into a small plastic jar and sealed it up tight.
My question is, how long should it be in the jar and how often should it be aired out during the curing process? All in all we're pretty pleased with out results for it being a first time grow. We weighed out the product before we put it in the jar and it came out to 20 grams. Not a lot but like I said we're pretty pleased with it this forum has been so helpful thanks to all of you.
