First Time Grow Light Questions

Hey guys, as a first timer I'm a little unsure of the efficiency of my set up which is:


- 2.5 ft tall, 3 ft wide, 2 ft deep
- Four 20w tube fluorescents on top
- Two 20w CFL with reflectors on side
- One 13w CFL with reflector on side
- One fan
- 2 female plants in flowering stage 12/12


So my question is: Is my set up worthy of producing a decent crop and, if not, what can I do (inexpensively) to help reach the optimum light output?

Invest in a hps you will yield but not much with cfl. 2 plants with that much light is pushing it. Try doing just the one

Yeah one is short and bushy and way more developed than the other tall and skinny one, so maybe that's an option. But in terms of an HPS... I'm trying to keep cost at a minimum and buying a ballast and bulb will set me back a lot.

Isn't there an HPS that fits a standard light socket?
