First time grow indoors or really trying to grow period..

Well, you have a grow tent. So the next step is buying a light that matches the size of the tent. As far as nutrients go, what kind of dirt are they growing in? For how small the plants are, they are in a lot of dirt- they may not need any additional nutrients.
They are in ff happy frog soil. What size light should I get? Would it have negative effects going and getting one and swapping them out

When I use ffhf soil for starting seeds...I notice the plants are hungry around the 3 week mark.. your plants look fine for this being your first grow attempt.. more light is good advice though... good luck

All light is good light. In the future you might want to keep your lights closer to the plant in the vegetative phase so it doesn't stretch so much.

As for right now, I think you've been told the right next steps. Gentle nutrients, you already know how to pH the water. Move your small lights closer to the plant.

If you really want to get professional in the future, check out @doublejj

For right now, keep the girl alive and keep on keeping on. This grow is your learning experience and trust your bit of weed that you do harvest will be better than anything else you smoke.

Self grown weed is always the best.

What is the dimensions of your tent so we can recommend a proper light?

Dyna-Gro makes great nutrients so good job on that part. It’s highly concentrated though and since you’re in FFHF soil with low powered lights I would start out at around 3ml/Gal. If they respond well you can slowly go up, I wouldn’t exceed 5-6ml/Gal with current conditions.

Hell yeah man that put a smile on my face I'll be happy with it forsure. I started them and slowly got things as I could so I didnt have anything but seeds and some jiffy pods I had from my vegetable garden leftover. I'm ready to harvest already and start with some feminized seeds and bug you guys from the start so I can really be proud. Thanks for the tips keep them coming please

It's a 48x24x60 and I had them on the veg mix and they got burns on the tips with just a quarter of the recommended dose so I backed off till right before I sent them into flower I gave them one more and they blew up with foliage and I started cutting away because of my random googling of grow post saying it would help send them into flower

You're doing good so far, your one limiting factor is your light. For a 2x4 space a 315w CMH or 240-320w LED would do great.

You could but a 315w CMH or 240-320w quality LED will do great by themselves, that will be plenty of light for 8 sq ft. If you do go with an LED get one with Samsung LM301B/H diodes and meanwell driver.

Stick to one of these. They are the bees knees. Better to get one with no bulb and buy a philips bulb but if you dont have the extra $ then the vivosun bulb is fine im sure.

I'm going have to stick to led it's in my room and it gets hot with just those lights I have now

That depends on what your going to suggest the most I can really spend now is 140 maybe 200 and that's pushing it right now. but in 2 weeks I will have enough so I dont want to get something here next week when I can afford to get a better one and have it in 3 weeks if you know what I mean?
