Whats up RollItUp. This is my first grow. I started a thread a little bit ago but couldn't finish it because I had to move. Any comments, tips, and suggestions are welcome and much appreciated. Ive enjoyed reading many peoples grow journals and have learned a lot. Hopefully this post will be able to help someone else, as well as me.

My box is two walmart sterilite totes painted white and stacked on each other. Here is a picture of her:

I have 12 CFL light bulbs in the box for a total of 378 actual watts (1,500 equivalant watts or 16320 lumens). Below is the list of bulbs I currently have hanging for seedling/vegitation and some pictures:

Eight 23 actual watt 5000K CFLs (Switch the majority of these to 2700K during flowering)
Two 42 actual watt 2700K CFLs
Two 50 actual watt 2700K CFLs

I also have a green bulb burning in my closet for when I work on the ladies.Green.jpg

I have two vent fans cut and placed into the top of the box just hovering above the light setup. I am still researching and building a carbon filter. Im thinking of making a box fan carbon filter and hanging it above my vent fans/whole box so I don't decrease the air outtake of the box by adding a screen and activated carbon. Anyone know a good forum/directions for this?

I germinated 6 Pineapple Kush seeds on September 1st by placing them in a cup of water. I let them sit for a day and when the root started showing, I placed them in my soil. For this grow I am using FoxFarm Ocean Forest plus perlite in a 3 FFOF soil:1 perlite ratio. I am starting the seedlings in 1 gallon pots. I added a light layer of perlite on top of the soil. I will spray the top of the soil BID and water PRN. Here are my babies:

I have some pH equipment, stir barr and all. It can read the pH of water and soil. I also have a Soil Master.

Here is the pH of my tap water sitting stable at 9.67. When using FFOF, what should I adjust the pH of my water too. I would use lemon juice and baking soda to make any pH adjustments. Do I need to adjust and what should I adjust too? (FFOF is pH stabilized right?)

I picked up some SuperThrive today. When should I start watering the seedlings with 1 drop per gallon of SuperThrive?

I will update every day I water or work on the plants.

Thanks in advance for all the help and comments.
Much love.

I added a drip tray so I can flush the plants when needed right in the box and not have to move them to my tub (so i wouldnt get a huge puddle). I set my grow box on a slight tilt and drilled a small whole in the bottom. Now it drains into this old cookie pan. And if it overflows, it goes into my plastic ohh shit i forgot to change you lid.

I sprayed the soil and perlite to get the humidity up and the soil moist. Im thinking about misting with Miracle Grow Leaf Shine when they break soil once or twice. Any thoughts on this product?
